Proof is showing people what you know, what you've done, and how you think.
Which customer. What went wrong. What you recommended. What you talked them out of. What it cost them. What you'd do differently now.
The more specific you are about what happened and why, the more believable you get. That's true for a buyer reading your site at nine at night, and it's true for the software that's summarizing you.
